IITGN organized ‘Run for Unity’, pays tribute to Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar celebrated ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ and organized a ‘Run for Unity’ today evening as a tribute to Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary. Senior Professor D.P. Roy flagged off the run today evening. The 2.2 km ‘Run for Unity’ saw enthusiastic participation from the faculty, students, and staff. About 250 students of IITGN participated in the run. The event was organized as a demonstration of unity and integrity to commemorate Sardar’s legacy. Pledging to fight the evil of corruption

The institute observed Vigilance Awareness Week during October 29 to November 3. It used the week-long time to widespread public awareness about the ill effects of corruption and motivate all to collectively participate in the fight against corruption.
