Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 29 to November 3, 2018, to generate public awareness about the ill effects of corruption and motivate all to collectively participate in the fight against corruption.
On Monday, the IITGN faculty and staff gathered to take the integrity pledge. An eloquence competition was held on October 31 on this year’s theme, ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India’. A group discussion was planned on November 2 to discuss ‘What an IITian can do to eradicate corruption’. Students were also encouraged to participate in these activities. IITGN also reached out to the general public/citizens by conducting an awareness program in the nearby Palaj village on November 3.
