The institute observed Vigilance Awareness Week during October 29 to November 3. It used the week-long time to widespread public awareness about the ill effects of corruption and motivate all to collectively participate in the fight against corruption.
On Monday, IITGN faculty and staff members gathered to undertake the Integrity Pledge. An eloquence competition was also organised on October 31, based on this year’s theme Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India. A group discussion What an IITian can do to eradicate corruption remained a major highlight. The institute also reached out to the general public/citizens through an awareness programme held in the nearby Palaj village.
