More than 170 faculty and staff members of the institute, along with their families, enjoyed a day close to nature at the institute’s own organic farm on January 19. The Organic Farm Team of IITGN had organised a farm tour and village-style lunch for the community members replete with a variety of recreational activities like pottery and mehndi. The Adventure Frenzy Club of Staff Development Cell (SDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) organised a one-day adventure trek to the Polo Forest for its staff members on January 18. Polo Forest is one of the most beautiful and wonderful campsites of Gujarat, also known as Vijaynagar Forest, and is spread across the foothills of the Aravalli range, Sabarkantha district, Gujarat.
