IITGN to start a virtual seminar series by faculty members

The seminars are aimed towards a non-specialist audience to elaborate on exciting topics from physics, biology, engineering and humanities. With a broader aim to keep the academic discourse flowing during the global Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is starting a virtual seminar series by its faculty members from April 24, 2020. IITGN students leads COVID-19 Control Room

The 24*7 control room monitors all students who have a recent travel history and checks them up on a daily basis. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the student body at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has setup a Control Room facility. The control room facility is completely coordinated and managed by the students who are currently present on the campus. As a 22-year-college student during the Great Plague of London in 1665, Issac Newton developed some of his greatest discoveries. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has launched ‘Project Isaac’ to engage its students in creative projects to enhance their critical skills while they are confined to their rooms or homes because of Coronavirus.
