Six of IITGN PhD scholars have received the Prime Minister Research Fellowship for the May 2020 cycle, which is one of the best acceptance rate among the newer IITs. Six doctoral students of IITGN – Ashish Tiwari, Kailash Prasad, Prasanna Kulkarni, Rajes Ghosh, Sachinkumar Suthar, and Yogesh Singh – have bagged the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) for the May 2020 cycle.
