An Advanced Training in Mathematics (ATM) school on Advanced Linear Algebra was organised at the institute during July 10-22, 2017 in association with the National Centre for Mathematics. This workshop covered topics in Linear Algebra which are beyond the scope of a standard MSc curriculum.
Lectures were delivered by Prof K N Raghavan from Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Prof J K Verma & Prof Ananthanarayan Hariharan from IIT Bombay, Prof Ritumoni Sharma from IIT Delhi and Prof Indranath Sengupta & Prof Neeldhara Misra from IITGN.
ATM Schools were launched by the National Board for Higher Mathematics in 2004. The objective is to provide training in core subjects of Mathematics to students, researchers and teachers by way of “learning by doing”.
