19 staff members opts for a day-off at Nal Sarovar and Little Rann of Kutch

The Adventure Frenzy and Shutterbug Photography clubs of the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar’s (IITGN) Staff Development Cell (SDC) had jointly organised their fourth tour to Nal Sarovar and Little Rann Of Kutch, Dhrangadhra. A total of 19 staff members participated in the trip on February 15 and relished nature’s beauty

During the first half of the day, they spent their time birdwatching in Nal Sarovar bird sanctuary. Later, they explored the Little Rann of Kutch where they enjoyed the scenic beauty and water bodies. The participants also spotted the Indian wild ass, wild boar, Great white pelicans, cranes, flamingos, white storks, rosy pelicans, Northern shoveler, black & white stilt, white-eyed eagle, imperial eagle, etc.

A session in basic photography skills was also organised as part of the tour. The day concluded with an enthralling sunset in the beautiful Rann.
