NEEV, the community outreach program of IIT Gandhinagar, in collaboration with the District Employment Exchange, Gandhinagar, has organised a Job Fair today. Esteemed companies such as Tech Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance, Axis Bank, LIC of India, and Cosmos Manpower have actively participated in this significant event. The job fair offered various positions including Customer Service Representative, Sales Executive, Officer Sales, Back Office Executive, Data-entry Operator, Helper, Trainee, and Receptionist, catering to individuals with qualifications ranging from 10th/12th/ITI/Diploma to Graduate/Post-graduate levels.

The event witnessed an impressive attendance of 642 individuals, predominantly from the Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad areas, along with several surrounding villages near IIT Gandhinagar. Notably, 95 attendees have been shortlisted for the next round of the selection process.

NEEV, as a community outreach initiative of IIT Gandhinagar, is dedicated to empowering women and youth from under-served communities through skill development, entrepreneurship, and livelihood programs. The primary objective of the Job Fair is to facilitate connections between these individuals and prospective employers, thereby fostering opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
