IIT Gandhinagar community pays ‘swachhanjali’ to Mahatma Gandhi by organising a mass cleanliness drive

The event – “Ek Tareekh-Ek Ghanta” – was part of a series of activities under the fortnight-long “Swachhata Pakhwada” celebration on the theme “Swachhata hi Sewa”. More than 100 community members of the Institute, including students, faculty, and staff, gave ‘Shramdaan’ of one hour to clean the venue in Palaj village and collected about 650 kg of garbage....
