For a noble cause: IITGN family donates blood to help cancer patients

The Health Committee at the institute organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI), Ahmedabad and Raktdaata Federation, Ahmedabad on April 20. More than 180 students, faculty, staff and their family members generously and enthusiastically participated in this social drive. As a result, this event with a noble cause broke all the previous records of IITGN blood donation camps with a total collection of 157 units of blood in one day. This invaluable gift will be provided to the needy cancer patients by GCRI free of cost. All the donors were also awarded a certificate of appreciation.
