Read MoreThe institute, on May 27, welcomed 144 interns to its flagship Summer Research Internship Programme (SRIP) this year. This year, IITGN had received more than 19,000 applications, more than double as compared to the previous year. A total of 144 students from various institutes across the country have been selected, including 41 students from IITGN, 19 students from other IITs and 27 students from NITs. About 44 faculty members of IITGN will guide the participating students on a wide range of research projects during the eight-week programme.
