JEE Open House clears doubts of prospective students

JEE Advanced-qualified students and their parents took guidance during various interactive sessions with faculty, students and alumni of IITGN. The institute organised JEE Open House sessions in Delhi, Mumbai and Gandhinagar for JEE Advanced-qualified students and their parents. The programme was aimed at addressing queries about IIT admission, academic programmes and IIT Gandhinagar ecosystem. Campus Feature – Gate 1 and 2

The construction work for gate 1 and 2 of IIT Gandhinagar has been completed and they were inaugurated on 18th April 2019. Both the gates reflect a design philosophy consistent with the boundary wall design of the Institute. They are equipped with a security office, provision for purified drinking water, public washrooms, waiting area for visitors’ vehicles, and has an attractive architectural rendition through exposed brickwork. Admissions are open for full-time and part-time non-degree programmes for both Semester-I (August-November) and Semester-II (January-April). The institute has always aimed at being an ‘inclusive’ rather than ‘exclusive’ academic institution. This is achieved through its various initiatives and programmes. Yoga in full swing on fifth international Yoga Day

The institute  celebrated 5th International Yoga Day today amidst high enthusiasm and fervour. The entire IITGN community, including students, faculty, staff and their families, enthusiastically participated in various activities. The celebrations commenced with the demonstration and practice of yoga aasanas, followed by an interactive session on Relevance of Yoga in Everyday Life by Yoga Expert Dr Shikha Saraogi. The participants were informed about the specific benefits of the aasanas and how to perform them.
