The new batch, reflects the diversity of India, with students from 20 states of the country and has an increased gender ratio of 17% female students. Students will get to immerse in various activities designed to build their self-confidence and help them explore their creative passions. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) began its flagship 5-week Foundation Program (FP) today by welcoming total 209 new BTech students for 2019-2023 batch. Invent@IITGN is a 6-week annual summer program in inventing, based off a similar program in the United States (where it is called Invention Factory™). It was adopted by IITGN during the summer of 2018.
