IITGN teams up with Duke to investigate health implications of common roadside fires in urban India. With many cities in India getting to the point where air pollution outweighs the benefits of exercising outdoors, every source of exposure needs all the attention it can get. Workshop on Applied Mathematics

The Mathematics discipline at IITGN hosted a one-day workshop on Applications of Mathematics on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. The goal of the workshop was to highlight the myriad applications of Mathematics in various fields of Science and Engineering. The program included talks by Prof. Saleh Tanveer (Mathematics, Ohio State University, USA) and Prof. Sandeep Juneja (School of Technology and Computer Science, TIFR Mumbai), in addition to presentations by IITGN faculty.
