As the whole country delved into the fitness mode through the ‘Hum Fit toh India Fit’ fitness challenge, the institute also joined the league and encouraged its faculty, staff and students to work consciously towards maintaining their health. The institute organised a Fitness Challenge on June 14 as part of the closing of its 25-day Fitness Summer Camp. The camp commenced on May 21.

Meticulously planned  by the Gymnasium Committee, the Fitness Challenge saw an enthusiastic participation of over 110 staff and faculty members, along with students and summer interns. The challenge consisted of a cascade of exercises; the top 10 performers were declared as fittest and were rewarded with medals. Participants Parth Upadhyay and Charu Oberoi expressed, “The camp was motivating and refreshing, we feel healthier and fitter. And, now we are very serious about maintaining our fitness.”

Mr Dinesh Parmar, Sports Officer remarked, “This is only a beginning and we will organise more such camps in future.”
